The Soyuz MS-09 spacecraft with a "hole" will be met by 10 helicopters and three aircraft

The search and rescue group of the Central Military District went to Kazakhstan. It should provide a meeting of astronauts, after landing "Union MC-09", which is scheduled for December 20.

In total, this event involved ten Mi-8, one An-26 and two - An-12, twenty-two units of special and transport equipment, including 6 amphibious machines. The number of personnel - 200 people.

In the military district they also clarified that the transport and combat helicopters Mi-8 flew to operational airfields of Kazakhstan from the Uprun airfield in the Chelyabinsk region. Four amphibious vehicles were deployed on An-12 aircraft, while the other two flew under their own power to the alternate landing site.

It was previously reported that two Mi-8 helicopters flew to the steppe regions of Kazakhstan in order to reconnoiter the proposed capsule landing zone.

Russian cosmonauts began to prepare for their return to Earth on special simulators. To do this, Sergei Prokopyev trains in manual mode to control the landing capsule. Before leaving the space station, the astronaut's body must remember about gravity with the help of special trainings in the CHIBIS device, which creates negative pressure and directs part of the blood flow to the lower extremities.

ENA astronaut Alexander Gerst, NASA astronaut Serena Anunon and Roscosmos cosmonaut Sergei Prokopiev will return to the landing capsule on the ground. The landing is supposedly scheduled for December 20 near the city of Zhezkazgan.
