The largest Russian air carriers may lose their certificates.

According to Avia.pro portal, it is planned to introduce a bill on the territory of the Russian Federation envisaging revision of the criteria for the financial stability of domestic air carriers, which means that airlines in a difficult financial situation may simply cease to exist.

For a number of reasons, specialists do not want to name those companies that may be subject to revocation of certificates, however, at the moment in a difficult economic situation there are at least two largest domestic air carriers.

It should be clarified that the revision of the criteria for the financial stability of airlines is connected with the goal of preventing a repetition of the situation with the carrier VIM-Avia.
