Latvia will "scare" Russia with American drones

On arms of the Air Forces of Latvia three American drones will appear.

According to the information and news agency Avia.pro, Latvia has signed a contract with the American company "AeroVironment" for the supply of three RQ-20A Puma reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicles. According to preliminary data, the total amount of the contract to be concluded will be about one million dollars, and the combat drones may appear in service with the Latvian Air Force this year.

For what purposes Latvia intends to use the American RQ-20A Puma reconnaissance drones is still unknown, however, it is important to clarify that this country has repeatedly, completely unreasonably, pointed to the growing aggression from Russia, and it is likely that these aircraft are supposed to be used to control the movement of Russian forces.

On the other hand, it is important to take into account that the appearance of the RQ-20A Hummer reconnaissance drones in service with Latvia may also be associated with NATO's attempts to conduct constant monitoring and patrolling near the borders of the Russian Federation, which has already been repeatedly noted since the beginning of this year.
