Lithuania will start to collect data about airline passengers

Since 2017, Lithuania will begin to spy on their air travelers.

Taking into account the new regulation, without exception, airlines will be required to record and store data about their customers, including, inter alia, as a direct citizens and foreign nationals. There were no visible problems for passengers it does not create, however, there is a clear violation of privacy and violation of citizens' rights and freedoms.

It is necessary to clarify what kind of espionage is also very practical purpose, in particular, it will increase the safety of air travel in the country, which is very important, especially taking the fact that in this country, members of radical and terrorist groups can enter the EU.
