Experts have named one of the reasons for the corrosion of the F-35 fighters.

A few days earlier, the information portal Avia.pro reported that the Pentagon was forced to suspend the supply of Lockheed Martin F-35 fighters, due to rust identified in a number of elements. As part of the research, it was possible to establish that the main reason for this was non-compliance with the technology, in particular, aircraft manufacturers replaced one material with a cheaper one, without specifying its technological features and composition.

The current error can only be resolved by changing the aircraft technology, however, this also means that Lockheed Martin will have to recall almost all aircraft sold to correct the identified problems, which can result in multibillion-dollar costs.
