American aircraft company «Lockheed Martin» entrusted with the development of supersonic aircraft quiet.

According to official reports, the US National Aerospace Agency (NASA) has allocated US aircraft company «Lockheed Martin» amounting to 20 million dollars to develop the project of a supersonic aircraft having a relatively quiet breaking the sound barrier.

Experts believe that if the project will be executed in the next-2 years, then by the year 2020 can be carried out the first tests of a quiet supersonic passenger airliner, which in turn will create a strong impetus for the development of effective passenger transportation in the world of aviation.

Information portal Avia.pro said that last year there were reports on the development of technology which reduces the volume of the sound when flying at supersonic speeds to 12%, that with further development, will ensure the implementation of requirements to the aircraft.
