Denis Manturov confirmed the readiness of Russian C-500 “Prometheus”.

The head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Denis Manturov, made a statement that the Russian C-500 Prometheus (Triumphant) anti-aircraft missile system had passed all the required tests and was fully prepared for mass production and adoption.

“During the course of testing, the main characteristics were confirmed, and the ZRS was ready for serial production”, - quotes the words of Denis Manturov edition "Star".

A few days earlier, the Russian media published a video that captures data from the C-500 Russian Prometheus radars, which may indicate that the prototypes of these air defense and anti-missile defense systems are already on operational combat duty, but this no official comment has been made on this point.

When exactly the first Prometheus C-500 anti-aircraft missile systems begin to enter service with the Russian army, so far remains unknown, however, according to expert estimates, this is obviously the 2021 year.
