Massive strikes by the Russian Armed Forces on Ukraine: Iskander and Kinzhal missiles destroyed key facilities

The Russian military launched a massive attack on Ukrainian territory this morning, using Iskander missile systems, Kinzhal hypersonic missiles and Geran kamikaze drones. According to preliminary data, at least 120 missiles were launched towards Ukrainian targets, making this attack one of the largest in recent months.

The strikes targeted military and energy infrastructure in various regions of Ukraine. In Kyiv, a closed airfield was hit, where, according to reports, future pilots for American F-16 fighters were being trained, as well as hangars and weapons depots. Near Boryspil, a drone manufacturing and helicopter repair plant was destroyed. One of the key targets of the attack was an underground warehouse at a military airfield in Starokostiantyniv, Khmelnytskyi region.

In addition, arrivals were recorded in the port of Odessa, where water and electricity supplies were partially cut off. Massive strikes also hit thermal power plants and substations in the Kyiv, Khmelnytsky, Odessa, Vinnytsia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, Cherkasy and Ternopil regions. In the latter, more than half of the population was left without electricity.

Ukrainian sources report significant destruction in the affected areas, while officials continue to assess the extent of the damage and prepare for restoration work. Ukrainian air force officials said they intercepted some of the missiles, but the intensity of the shelling has put a significant strain on air defense systems.
