Medvedev Calls Emmanuel Macron "Weakling"

Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev has sharply criticized French President Emmanuel Macron amid the government crisis that has erupted in the country. In his statement, Medvedev called Macron a "weakling," adding that the French head of state has failed to manage and should step down.

"French President Macron has failed to manage the government crisis and must go. Weakling. Supported by the US, future fate unknown," — Medvedev wrote on his Telegram channel.

The crisis in question is linked to a possible vote of no confidence in the French government. Political instability has increased amid mass protests and dissent in parliament, threatening the work of the executive branch.

France is not commenting on Medvedev's statement.
