The torrential rains of last week showed that when designing the Sochi airport a number of problems arose, in particular, related to the flooding of the territory of the air hub - storm sewers simply could not cope with the tap of water, as a result of which the air traffic here was seriously disrupted.

It is expected that in the near future specialists will develop a plan according to which such problems in the future can be avoided. Nevertheless, the news agency Avia.pro notes that at the moment, an investigation is being conducted into the flooding of the Sochi international airport, which may result in administrative measures both for the airport management and for the designers who did not envisage possible situations.
