In the Pokrovsk area in Donbass, a situation occurred that caused a wide public outcry: a recently built fortified area, the creation of which cost several tens of millions of hryvnias, ended up in the hands of Russian military personnel without any resistance from Ukrainian troops. The editor-in-chief of the publication "Censor.NET" Yuriy Butusov expressed indignation about this, emphasizing that the reason for such a development of events was inadequate management decisions of the military command.

“They built a key, finally good fortified area near Pokrovsk, for several tens of millions of hryvnia, but they didn’t have time to send our soldiers there because of certain inadequate management decisions by the command.”, - Butusov said.

He noted that the enemy occupied this strategically important facility without a fight, since the military leadership did not send a single serviceman there.

“As a result, tens of millions were spent and our command gave this entire fortified area to the Russian troops,” — the journalist added.

The situation near Pokrovsk remains tense for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. According to analysts, Russian troops are advancing in this direction at a speed of up to 500 meters per day, which poses a threat to nearby settlements such as Myrnohrad and Selydove. Yuriy Butusov emphasizes that the loss of these cities could lead to serious strategic consequences, including dividing Donbas into two parts and creating a threat to the Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhia regions.
