RIA Novosti, citing a source in the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, reports that the serial purchases of Su-35 fighters, after the current contract is completed, will continue. They will be conducted simultaneously with the purchases of the fifth-generation Su-57 aircraft.

The supply of 48 Su-35 fighters on the first contract ended at the end of 2015. At the same time, the parties signed a second contract. They provided for the supply of 50 new cars. Deputy Defense Minister Alexei Krivoruchko announced that by the end of 2020, the second contract will be executed. Currently, the Russian VKS remains to deliver the 20 generation fighter "4 ++".

President Vladimir Putin said that by the year of 2028 it was necessary to fully re-equip the three aviation regiments of the VKS with Su-57 aircraft.

This fighter, previously known as the PAK FA, belongs to the fifth generation. He made his first flight in 2010 of the year. This year begins the mass production of these machines.
