The Defense Ministry is considering options for deploying the Su-57.

The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation is considering options for the deployment of air units, which will be delivered to the fifth-generation fighter Su-57.

As informs the publication "Izvestia", referring to sources in the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, there are at least two options in mind. The most likely is the one in which a new aviation regiment will be formed, and two existing regiments are re-equipped. In the second version, Su-57 will be delivered to the shelves that already exist. According to the calculations of the military, 76 fighters (voiced by their number) will provide the ability to staff three regiments with new aircraft (two squadrons each). In addition, four fighters can be put in Lipetsk 4-th center of combat training for pilot training.

The final decision can be made after coordination with the United Aircraft Building Corporation (UAC) on the supply of aircraft.

As follows from the message, the technical divisions of the specialists responsible for the radar stealth of the fighters will be introduced into the air regiments. To ensure the work with the aircraft will manufacture mobile hangars. They will provide a monitoring of the state of "stealth" coating. It will be possible to find out how the flights are reflected in the visibility of the aircraft in the radar, infrared and other spectra. The equipment required for testing has already been tested in Syria, where fighters were tested in combat conditions.

According to the first assumptions, the shelves with Su-57 will cover the main strategic directions. These are the Far East, the western frontiers and the Black Sea region. On each direction there will be one regiment.
