The Russian Ministry of Defense reported the successful suppression of attempts to break through mobile groups of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) using armored vehicles in several areas of the Kursk region. According to the department’s statement, active hostilities were recorded in the area of ​​​​the settlements of Tolpino, Zhuravli and Obshchiy Kolodez. Ukrainian forces made breakthrough attempts, which were stopped by the Russian military.

Particular attention was paid to the situation in the Belovsky district of the Kursk region, where attempts by the Ukrainian Armed Forces to break through the defense line were also recorded. The Ministry of Defense reported that in the areas of the settlements of Ozerki and Ivanovsky, Russian army aviation successfully destroyed several units of Ukrainian equipment. As a result of the strikes, two tanks, one armored combat vehicle, a field artillery piece, and two vehicles carrying ammunition were disabled.
