The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation revealed the death of the Russian military in Syria.

Representatives of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation confirmed the attack on the Russian military, as previously reported information resource Avia.pro. According to the Russian defense ministry, as a result of an attack by terrorists from the Islamic State (ISIS, a terrorist group banned in Russia — ed.), Three Russian soldiers were killed.

“As a result of the implemented complex of special events, the militants who attacked the car were installed, and the fact of the death of three Russian servicemen during the battle at the end of February was confirmed”, - informs the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

On the other hand, according to initial sources, the body of Major Sukhrob Karimov was not found at the site of the attack on the Russian military, as a result, his relatives considered him abducted and missing.

It is also reported that immediately after the attack, the aviation of the Russian Aerospace Forces attacked the ISIS terrorists, killing about 30 people and militants vehicles.

For what reasons the Russian military did not initially comment on the attack on the Russian officers, at the moment it remains unknown.
