The Ministry of Transport wants to change the rules for regional subsidies to flights.

At the moment it is known that the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation intends to improve the program of regional subsidizing of flights, which will allow to achieve the majority of wishes of carriers with minimal budget expenditures.

It should be clarified that, despite the efforts of air carriers, it is not possible to achieve effective results in the sphere of regional air transportation, which is expressed in regular complaints from passengers about the unreasonable increase in ticket prices.

What kind of measures the Ministry of Transport will take is still difficult to foresee, however, the first proposals have already been sent to the government, and it is likely that they will become known in the very near future.
