Ministry of Transport told when the flight will resume with Hurghada and Sharm el-Sheikh

The decision to resume flights to Hurghada and Sharm el-Sheikh will be taken in the summer.

Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation Maxim Sokolov at a meeting with journalists said that Russia will consider a decision on the need to organize additional projects for Sharm El Sheikh and Hurghada airports in early summer.

"Once the practice is established (after the resumption of regular flights to Cairo - Ed.), Which we can analyze, then it will be possible to continue these negotiations (on the resumption of charter flights - Ed.).", Mr. Sokolov said on the sidelines of the Krasnoyarsk Economic Forum.

He stressed that the decision to introduce additional checks at the resort airports will be made following a thorough analysis of all factors and additional information provided by Egyptian counterparts.
