May 28. According to an official report from the Ministry of Transport, the demand for air travel to Crimea has exceeded all expectations and continues to grow.

Thanks to direct flights between different regions of the Russian Federation, it was possible not only to attract a huge number of passengers, but also to make the flights themselves very comfortable and cheap. In addition, the Ministry of Transport is confident that another possible factor in increasing passenger flow was the government subsidized air transportation program.

It is worth noting that the growth of passenger traffic must certainly increase in the future, since according to the signed presidential decree, since 2016, air travel between Crimea will not be subject to VAT, which today is 18%.
