The passenger of the Irish airline took pictures of lightning falling into the wing of the aircraft.

According to the news agency Avia.pro, on February 17, 2018, a passenger of the Irish low-cost airline Ryanair, flying from Grenoble to Dublin, accidentally filmed the moment of lightning striking the wing of an airliner with his mobile phone. In fact, the man was filming the flight process with a mobile phone camera, and capturing the moment of the lightning strike was a complete surprise to him.

It is reported that most of the passengers did not see the moment of lightning falling into the wing of the aircraft, otherwise, there would have been a panic on board.

Despite the fact that the incident occurred almost immediately after departure from the French Grenoble, however, since the crew did not notice the thunderbolt, the flight continued, and neither the aircraft nor the people on board were injured.

It should be clarified that in most cases lightning strikes on a passenger plane do not lead to any emergency, which is facilitated by reliable protection, however, for small aircraft this often ends in a plane crash.
