In preparing for landing the plane was struck by lightning

The Pobeda airline passenger liner operated the Kazan - Sochi flight. When there were a few minutes left before landing, which is only about 30-35 kilometers of flight, lightning struck the passenger aircraft.

The crew landed safely. There were no casualties. When looking at the aircraft, the technicians did not find any significant damage, and did not reveal any problems.

However, the company decided not to risk it. The plane went to the airport without passengers. They were given another board that brought them to Moscow.
