The Ministry of Internal Affairs has declared seven foreign journalists who illegally visited the Kursk region wanted

The Russian Interior Ministry has put seven foreign journalists on the wanted list for allegedly illegally crossing the border to report in the Kursk region.

The following journalists have appeared in the Interior Ministry database: Nick Walsh from CNN, Stefania Battistini and Simona Traini from the Italian broadcaster RAI, Nicholas Connolly from Deutsche Welle*, as well as Natalia Nagornaya, Diana Butsko and Olesya Borovik from Ukrainian media.

It was previously reported that criminal cases had been opened against these journalists under the article on illegal crossing of the state border of the Russian Federation. According to sources, they visited the Kursk region to prepare materials without proper documentation and permits.

Such actions constitute a violation of Russian law and may entail serious legal consequences. In connection with this, the journalists were added to the list of wanted persons.
