5 January 2014. On the motorway near the Bronx (New York) unplanned landing landed light aircraft. The aircraft flew to LaGuardia airport, there were three people on board.

The case occurred around 15: 00 (local time). As a result of an emergency landing, the passengers left the aircraft on their own. One person was hospitalized with minor bruises. The remaining passengers were not injured.

Specialists who arrived at the landing site, are trying to establish the causes of the incident. In the management of the city reported that due to landing on the roadway, traffic jams can form.
