There were no Russian citizens on board the passenger plane that crashed in Iran.

As follows from the latest data presented, on board the plane that crashed today in the Iranian province of Isfahan, the Russians were absent. It should be clarified that the information is unofficial, since no confirmation of this data has been received.

As a result of the tragedy, 66 people died, including six crew members and 60 passengers, and although it was not possible to find the bodies of all people on board, experts initially came to the conclusion that after the collision of a turboprop aircraft with a mountain ridge, the likelihood of that someone could survive is extremely small.

The main version of the plane crash is considered to be unfavorable meteorological conditions, in particular, due to poor visibility, the crew of the aircraft simply did not see the ridge.
