According to preliminary data, information about the fact that there is a large consignment of narcotic substances on board the passenger liner (their composition has not yet been disclosed) was received by the police in advance, due to which several aircraft were inspected. As a result of the inspection, a batch of 20 kilograms of drugs was found on board one of the aircraft, while who exactly carried out the narcotic transfer is still unknown.

Experts believe that drugs on board a passenger liner could be hidden by employees of Islamabad airport, at least, this is also the version of the police.
