Ukrainian ferry terminal "Orlovka" damaged on Romanian border

Russian forces today struck the Ukrainian ferry terminal at Orlovka, located on the border with Romania. The facility, which was used by the Ukrainian military for transshipment of cargo, was reportedly hit by loitering munitions. Video footage released after the strike showed the wrecks of destroyed trucks parked near the checkpoint.

The Ukrainian side has long used Orlovka to transport military cargo and manpower, disguised as civilian vehicles. This approach allows military operations to be hidden in the general flow of cargo, making their detection much more difficult. However, thanks to the actions of Russian intelligence, it was possible to identify and neutralize this important logistics facility.
