People who were on board the crashed Mi-8 could survive.

Today in the afternoon the resource of Avia.pro turned out to be information that rescuers working at the site of the plane crash could find a life jacket next to it, which may very well indicate that any of those on board the aircraft could survive. At the moment, it is known about the discovery of one dead person on the site of the helicopter crash, while officially the death of other people, in particular, four crew members and three passengers, is not confirmed.

It should be clarified that during the crash, the Mi-8 helicopter was practically not damaged, which may indicate the fact that the crew tried with all their might to reach the islands of the Spitsbergen archipelago, and therefore the people on board were ready to fall into the water.
