Two people died as a result of the crash of a light-engine aircraft in the Philippines.

The incident occurred this morning, and according to local news agencies, a small plane stopped responding to air traffic controllers' inquiries, after which it was reported that it had suffered a plane crash in the north of the country, near the coast of Nasugba.

On board the aircraft was a pilot and a passenger, and at the moment the identity of both dead are established.

According to some reports, the plane crash could have occurred due to engine failure, but this information is checked, and most likely in the near future will be reported the official version of what happened.
