Launching of ballistic missiles

Secret military bases are found on the territory of Iran

In a remote desert area in Iran, a secret testing center was found, apparently used to develop engines for ballistic missiles, reports The New York Time. At this facility, work is mainly at night.

Such conclusions were made by five independent experts who carefully studied the satellite imagery. They believe that until the end of the work will be required from 5 to 10 years.

Perhaps Iran has launched a project to create medium-range missiles or is working on its own space program. In addition, there is reason to believe that the Iranian experts engaged in the development of intercontinental missiles.

The development of rocket engines is dangerous and complex, this can not be done indoors, only in an open desert area, using stands and special equipment that have been seen in images from space.

Experts were able to see a few characteristic traces left by the rocket engine during the tests. The first appeared in 2016 year, the second - in June 2017 year. Experts agreed that at the stands tested engines with thrust power 62-93 tons. Several stands, designed to test more powerful rocket engines, have not yet been used.

An engine of this power would be sufficient for a long-range missile capable of delivering a nuclear charge. According to analysts, most of the research complex is underground, with tunnels leading to the test site.

Due to the lack of tanks at the test site, it can be argued that the Iranians are working on the creation of solid-fuel missiles.
