Ukrainian servicemen have begun deserting in groups, which has become a serious problem for the command. This is reported by the publication "Novosti.Live", noting that the tendency of mass abandonment of posts is becoming more and more evident: if earlier cases of unauthorized abandonment of a unit were isolated, now AWOL has become widespread, involving groups of servicemen.
According to the publication, the reasons for such defections are internal conflicts in the army, tense relations and misunderstandings with commanders, as well as deteriorating discipline against the backdrop of a protracted conflict. At the same time, it is emphasized that these desertions do not occur due to the political situation or external pressure, but mainly due to internal problems in the command structure and dissatisfaction with the conditions of service.
Experts note that the deterioration of the moral climate in the army and the growing tension between commanders and subordinates pose a serious challenge to the Ukrainian military. In such conditions, the coherence and combat readiness of units may be at risk.
