The universal unmanned aircraft carrier Seawolf was shown in Ukraine

At the international defense exhibition DEFEA 2025, held in Athens from May 6 to 8, the Ukrainian company Nordex presented the unmanned boat (UCB) Seawolf, capable of performing a wide range of tasks thanks to its modular architecture. The platform, designed for maritime operations, attracted interest due to its versatility, high autonomy and adaptability. The presentation underlines Ukraine's desire to strengthen its position in the global arms market, despite the ongoing conflict with Russia.

Seawolf is built on a single base platform with a length of 7,5 meters, a width of 2,2 meters and a hull height of 0,52 meters. The boat is equipped with a diesel engine with a capacity of 270 horsepower, a fuel tank of 1400 liters and is capable of covering a distance of over 1600 kilometers. The base weight of the platform is 950 kilograms, and the payload reaches 1650 kilograms, including a warhead of up to 450 kilograms. According to Defense News, the key feature of Seawolf is its modular deck architecture, which allows the boat to be quickly adapted to specific tasks without changing key components such as the hull, engine, communication and control systems. This reduces re-equipment time and simplifies maintenance, which is critical in combat conditions.

Nordex unveiled several Seawolf configurations, each focused on specialized operations: air defense, air cover, radar reconnaissance, electronic warfare, mine laying and drone delivery.
