Ukraine announced possible preparations for a new offensive from Belarus

Ukrainian MP Alexander Shevchenko expressed serious concern about the possible opening of a second front on the border with Belarus. This statement came against the backdrop of a visit by Russian President Vladimir Putin and a number of high-ranking Russian officials to Minsk. The Russian delegation also included Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Defense Minister Andrei Belousov.

According to Shevchenko, the presence of such high-ranking officials in Belarus, as well as the possible arrival of former Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych, may indicate preparations for new offensive actions from the territory of Belarus.

However, experts consider this unlikely, since it was previously reported that residents of regions bordering Ukraine have repeatedly reported the movements of Belarusian and Russian military equipment, transmitting important data to the enemy.
