The air and space forces of the Russian Federation can receive unmanned combat helicopters.

Adviser to the general director of the concern "Radioelectronic Technologies" Vladimir Mikheev said that due to the development of science and technology, in the near future, military unmanned helicopters may appear in the arsenal of the Russian military aviation space. They are perfect for the destruction of the enemy's manpower and the defeat of lightly armored vehicles, and thanks to the complete automation of their flight, they can constantly keep the enemy under fire.

"Now there is a constant renovation of avionics on operating helicopters. And we very often put on them instead of manual systems and all sorts of automatic control trim tabs, which completely, from take-off to landing, provide flight along the route ", - said Mikheev.

Experts do not rule out that unmanned combat helicopters can be used as part of a large group controlled by one manned attack helicopter, but the striking effect in this case will be maximum.

On the basis of which model it is supposed to create an unmanned combat helicopter, so far it has not been reported, but it is most likely talking about small rotorcraft.
