The flagship air carrier of Iceland can remain without airplanes.

According to the information and news agency Avia.pro, employees of the Icelandic air carrier Icelandair, which is the flagship airline of the country, announced a strike. According to official information, the strike of aviation mechanics and maintenance personnel will be carried out from December 17, which in turn will significantly disrupt the airline's operation, since, in fact, aircraft will not be serviced.

It should be clarified that the main circumstance of the strike is employee dissatisfaction with working conditions, while the strike will continue until the airline management has accepted the conditions set.
