The Hussites destroyed an American MQ-9 Reaper drone with an anti-aircraft missile.

According to information provided by Yemeni rebels, an American drone, the MQ-9 Reaper, was discovered in Yemen's airspace, which attempted to strike at Husite positions. However, the drone was within the radius of destruction of the air defense systems, as a result of which it was destroyed.

At the moment, it is known that Yemeni rebels mean a ground-based launcher equipped with air-to-air missiles under the air defense system, which does not exclude the version that the MQ-9 Reaper UAV was shot down by a Soviet aviation missile, which has already been noticed repeatedly .

No official comments have yet been received on this subject, and the fact of who the downed drone belonged to is unknown, since the United States of America also takes part in delivering attacks on Yemeni rebels.

Experts note that since the beginning of this year, the Yemeni rebels have destroyed at least 5 MQ-9 Reaper unmanned aerial vehicles, which indicates the absolute futility of such drones.
