The gunner of the BMP-2, as a result of the detonation of the ammunition, was thrown out through the open hatch by 20 meters, and he survived

The gunner of the BMP-2 managed to survive after the detonation of the ammunition and the release to a height of 15 meters.

An incidental situation occurred in the area of the Svatovo-Kremennaya line, when an infantry fighting vehicle tried to advance in one of the directions to take up a defensive position. As a result of an unidentified missile hitting the combat vehicle (the impact, judging by the video footage, came from an anti-tank system directly under the BMP-2 - ed. note), the ammunition detonated and the gunner-operator of the combat vehicle was thrown out through the open hatch. Despite the fact that the latter flew about 15 meters, he managed to survive, which seems completely unbelievable - the fall was softened by snow.

On the presented video frames you can see the moment of the incident. As soon as the combat vehicle is undermined, the gunner operator flies out of the left hatch of the tower with great speed. The latter, apparently, was thrown to a height of 12-15 meters, however, he managed to survive, although he received serious injuries to the limbs.

Experts call this situation extremely extraordinary, since the case itself is absolutely unique - such explosions of military vehicles usually end in the death of the military personnel inside.
