The newest Russian strategic bomber will take off in 6 years.

The Russian strategic bomber of the PAK DA project will make its first flight already in 2025, while it is planned to assemble and launch tests of the prototype of this aircraft by 2021.

“The Tupolev Design Bureau is currently working on the first prototype of this bomber. Tupolev will present the new-generation nuclear bomber PAK DA (a promising long-range aviation complex) in 2021 or in 2022. And the first flight of this car is scheduled for 2025-2026 years. ”, - informs the edition "Diplomat".

At the moment, almost nothing is known about the PAK DA bomber, except for the fact that its construction uses materials that can withstand high temperatures, which, according to analysts, may indicate that the newest aircraft will still become supersonic.

It should be clarified that no official statements were made by Russian aircraft manufacturers to this effect.
