"Not accepted on combat duty": the reason why the S-300 did not attack the Israeli F-16

The Syrian S-300 air defense systems could not harm Israeli fighters, since they were not taken on combat duty.

The wave of criticism that struck Russia and Syria after another attack by the Israeli Air Force on the night of 21 in January 2019, led the experts to the idea that the Syrian army’s S-300 Favorit was not able to effectively cope even with F- 16, although the latter are typical targets for these air defense systems. However, as it turned out, the problem is not at all in the Russian air defense system, but solely in the fact that these complexes have not yet been taken on combat duty.

Earlier, the Avia.pro resource reported that the C-300 “Favorit” air defense missile system, supplied to Russia by Syria, has already been taken on combat duty, but Russian military expert Alexei Leonkov completely refuted this information, stressing that the Syrian specialists are still undergoing training in Russia.

“The attacks of the Israeli air force are inflicted either from the territory of Lebanon or from the territory of Israel itself. This is the so-called undeclared war by Israel. Strikes are carried out with the help of F-16 aircraft and others. All of them are regular targets for Syrian C-300 complexes, ”said the expert, recalling that C-300 has not been commissioned since the Syrians continue to learn how to use these new weapons for them.”, - marks the edition "Look".

Experts do not exclude that for this reason, the Syrian military could not attack Israeli combat aircraft, because the latter struck from a distance of 130-160 kilometers, which is the boundary value for the Syrian air defense system C-200.

Yes, just the missiles of the wrong system were delivered. Here if others were, then yes, they would beat everyone.

Yes, they’ll see everything there, if they bring down the Israelites, bury Israel there, everyone and ours and yours, don’t you get them?
