Unusual counterparts of Russian air defense systems seen on the border of Pakistan

Pakistan has placed on the border with India unusual counterparts of the Russian air defense systems.

Information agency DNA DNA, citing data from representatives of Indian intelligence, reports that unusual counterparts of Russian air defense systems were deployed on the Pakistani border. We are talking about the LY-80 complexes, which are a combination of the Russian Shtil air defense missile system (ship defense system) and the Buk air defense missile system, which are able to detect targets at distances up to 140-150 kilometers.

According to experts, Pakistan fears new attacks from India and is preparing to repel attacks, while, given the relatively small radius of destruction of air targets, Pakistan intends to attack the aircraft of the Indian Air Force exclusively when violating its airspace.

It is noteworthy that the LY-80 complexes themselves, which are export versions of the HQ-16 air defense system, are air defense systems with much less efficiency than the same Russian Buk air defense systems, at almost equal cost, which they did not want to buy earlier in Pakistan ...
