November 9 2013. In the resort city of Eilat, the Israeli airline El Al canceled its night flights. This decision was made as a result of the revision of the routes of civil aviation specialists.

The reason for the change of all flights was the threat posed by rocket attacks from the Sinai Peninsula.

All aircraft flights will be carried out only during the day. Ship bound for Eilat airport, will unfold over the Red Sea, and only then go to the landing. Earlier, the routes were developed over a mountain ridge near the border with Egypt, and thus they are in the radius of the anti-aircraft equipment fighters who operated on Sinaia.
