According to the monitoring group "Belaruski Gayun", on the night of September 15-16, a kamikaze drone violated the border of Belarus, penetrating the airspace in the area of ​​the Polesie radiation and ecological reserve in the Gomel region. The drone crossed the border with Ukraine at about 03:15 at night and remained in Belarusian airspace for 20 minutes, after which it returned back to the territory of Ukraine.

The drone reportedly entered Belarusian skies from the Kyiv region and headed for Khoyniki, after which it made several circles over the territory of the Gomel region, including in the area of ​​the Polesie Nature Reserve, before turning around and returning to the Ukrainian side at around 03:40, moving in the direction of the city of Ivankov.

According to the Belarusian Gayun project, the Belarusian Air Force did not raise its duty aircraft on the night of the incident.
