Norwegian carriers require the authorities to close the airspace for Russian aircraft.

As it became known, such measures should be an adequate solution to the existing transit flights for Norwegian airlines. Nevertheless, there is a perception that the authorities are not willing to make such decisions because of the possible consequences of future cooperation between the two countries, but the probability of a ban on flights of Russian airlines still exists.

In fact, the closure of the airspace over Norway will have virtually no effect on the activities of Russian air carriers, while in itself this will bring great financial problems for civil air traffic in Norway.
