The missile with which "Pantsir-S" can not cope has appeared in Ukraine's arsenal.

Repeated statements of the Ukrainian side about the intentions to return the Crimean peninsula by force and to destroy the Crimean bridge led to the fact that Russia seriously strengthened the defense of the peninsula by stationing airfields and modern air defense facilities on the airfields. Nevertheless, after the emergence of the newest cruise missile Neptune in Ukraine, the specialists had doubts about whether Russian "Pantsir-S" complexes, and, most likely, they will be assigned to them to protect the peninsula from missile and air strikes, ensure the proper security of the Russian territory.

It is known that relatively recently Ukraine conducted a successful test of the Neptune cruise missile, which is an analogue of the Soviet Kh-35 anti-ship missile. The maximum flight range of the Ukrainian missile is 300 kilometers, which, at a speed of 0,85 MAX, will leave the Russian air defense systems relatively little time to react and destroy the missile, especially since the combat radius of the complex is limited to several tens of kilometers.

On the other hand, Ukraine is well aware that any aggression against Russia will be fraught with a lightning-fast response and a full-fledged military conflict - on the Crimean peninsula alone there is enough weapons to deliver a powerful and striking blow, and therefore, the appearance of the same Neptune missiles should not be viewed as any threat to Russia's national interests, and any statements by the Ukrainian side on this matter should be considered provocative.
