To machines operated at full capacity, it requires not only the pilots, but also professionals, located on the ground. As a result, the district has been retrained about 250 officers. Refresher courses were opened at the plant where manufactured aircraft and helicopters.

In the near future, the Air Force of the Southern Military District plans to continue the purchase of military aircraft. They plan to replenish their fleet with Mi-28N, Mi-26T helicopters and Su-34, S-27SM and MiG-35S aircraft.
