New air carriers will be required to operate domestic aircraft

New Russian airlines will be operated only by domestic aircraft.

The Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation made a decision to stimulate demand for Russian aircraft, to oblige new domestic air carriers to purchase only Russian aircraft. New changes to the Federal Aviation Regulations will enter into legal force before the end of this year, but experts in turn believe that such an approach will simply be unprofitable for carriers.

To date, passenger airliners of such manufacturers as "Airbus" and "Boeing" are most popular in the parks of domestic air carriers, however, thanks to the appearance of MS-21 aircraft, and also the turboprop aircraft Il-114, this indicator can change.
