New NASA aircraft will save fuel and make flights safer

Specialists from NASA have found the opportunity to make the flight of aircraft safer and more economical.

As follows from the official report of the National Aerospace Agency of the United States, within the framework of special studies, it was possible to create the concept of a new, economical aircraft that spends less fuel and is more effective from the point of view of safety. In fact, the specialists managed to create a special engine that, in addition to traction, also produces electric energy, which ultimately reduces fuel consumption by 10%, and taking into account possible modifications, fuel costs can be reduced to 15%.

No less important is the fact that the engine itself provides 30% less vibration, and, consequently, the safety of flights also increases.

A new concept of NASA involves the implementation of a STARC-ABL aircraft.
