Fragments of an S-200 Angara rocket were found in the Belgorod region.

The wreckage of the S-200 Angara missile, which is part of the Ukrainian air defense arsenal, was found between the villages of Osadchee and Krasnoe in the Belgorod region, about 50 kilometers from the border. In the same area, a funnel of considerable size was discovered - 15 meters in diameter and 3 meters deep.

The S-200 Angara anti-aircraft missile system is designed to destroy air targets at high and medium altitudes. The Ukrainian Armed Forces use this type of missile in their air defense.

The discovery of rocket debris in such a location raises a number of questions that remain unanswered so far. It remains to be established how and why the missile could have ended up on Russian territory, since the missiles could well have been launched at aircraft or used to strike targets on the ground.

A detailed investigation into the circumstances of this incident is currently underway. Official comments from the military and law enforcement agencies have not yet been received.
