The common air defense system was created by Kazakhstan and Russia

December 30, 2013. Russia and Kazakhstan created a Unified Air Defense System. The contract for the creation of the system was signed in January 2013.

Coordinating the actions will be the air defense forces of both countries, while they will continue to establish their defense departments.
