The militia of the self-proclaimed Lugansk People's Republic announced that over the past day they had destroyed 2 combat helicopters and the Su-25 attack aircraft.

The official Kiev partially confirmed this information, in particular the information that the military aircraft was shot down. As the statistics show, during the anti-terrorist operation in the southeast of Ukraine, the Air Force of the country lost more than 20 air assets. It is worth noting that initially it was reported that the Su-25 shot down the day before, was destroyed by a self-propelled missile system, but later it turned out that the militia used MANPADS for this.

It became known that the pilot of the downed stormtrooper was able to eject, but his whereabouts have not yet been established. The fate of pilots of downed helicopters remains unknown.
