A video of an attempt by a Su-27 fighter to shoot down a Ukrainian Bayraktar drone over the Black Sea has been published

Video footage of the attack on the Bayraktar TB2 drone near the borders of Crimea has appeared.

The footage captures video taken on a camera mounted in the tail section of an unmanned aerial vehicle. On the Bayraktar TB2 drone, there are marks that allow us to confidently state that we are talking about a Ukrainian drone.

According to the data presented, the Su-27 fighter attempted to shoot down the Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle Bayraktar TB2 during its approach to the Crimean peninsula. When exactly these video frames were filmed remains unknown. However, it can be seen that the fighter jet circles near the drone for a long time, probably trying to overturn it either with a jet of air and hot engine gases, or to dump fuel onto the drone, which in each of the above cases would lead to the crash of the UAV.

According to the Turkish publication SavunmaSanayiST, we are talking about a Russian fighter. The case itself is compared with the incident that occurred with the MQ-9 Reaper drone.

“This time a similar incident happened with the Ukrainian Bayraktar TB2. Again, in an incident that took place near the Crimean peninsula, a Russian military aircraft attempted to expose the aircraft to a “jet blast” by flying at high speed near Bayraktar TB2 at an altitude of 20 feet. Bayraktar TB000, which swayed a little at first, recovered in a short time and continued to fly. This event was recorded moment by moment by the Bayraktar TB2 tail camera. It is assumed that the Russian aircraft is a Su-2 fighter", - reports the Turkish edition.

There are no official comments regarding the video frames that have appeared yet, however, apparently, the drone continued its flight, although it changed course.
