For the preparation of the terrorist attack on board the aircraft, the man was sentenced to 18 years in prison.

On the eve of the day, a British court sentenced a native of Pakistan, who tried to carry an improvised explosive device on board a passenger liner at Manchester Airport, in the form of 18 years in prison. By a fluke, and thanks to the vigilance of the security staff of the air harbor, the man managed to be detained and rendered harmless before he brought his plan into action.

Later it turned out that the capacity of the improvised explosive device would be enough to damage the aircraft and disable it.

To date, in several European cities, the security of air harbors has been strengthened, which is mainly due to the continued growth of the threat of terrorist acts.
